We Found Our Church
Years ago we attended a church called Bible Way Tabernacle,with brother James McCoy and his family,when he was the adult Sunday School teacher. Since the church closed in 2008, and all the leadership except the McCoy's and the Lutz's (Jon and Cheryl), left Colorado, me and my wife Cheryl had been looking for a good, Bible Believing, Independent, Pentecostal, Holiness, Trinitarian church here in Colorado since that time (5 years).
We visited several churches, and I, Jon Lutz, attended a church for nearly one year, but my wife Cheryl only visited once or twice,and just didn't feel right about attending this church. We were just about to go and visit several churches, but when we looked on the internet and found out information about these churches, we saw their statements of faith and what they believed, and it just didn't fit with our beliefs on The Word of God, The KJV Bible. So we were just about to giveup on church completely and just have our own bible study betweenthe two of us a couple times per week in our home.I had a dream in July or August 2013 that lasted 4 hours, about Bible Way Tabernacle coming back into existence, and everyone that was involved in leadership would come back to Colorado. I notified by Email or Facebook all of the leadership of Bible Way Tabernacle and told them about my dream in July or August 2013, and no one responded, but Pastor James McCoy gave a testimony in September 2013 that he spoke with the former leadership of Bible Way Tabernacle and they thought that I was way out there. But when the 4 families that are now in the leadership of the new church started praying and discussing how to form Liberty Holiness Tabernacle, what to call it, how theservices and worship were going to be run, etc., Pastor James McCoy didn't think that was such a weird or way out dream then.
The miracles that The God Of Heaven have brought to me and mywife Cheryl, as well as the other four charter member families ofLiberty Holiness Tabernacle have been too incredible to even comprehend,since Liberty Holiness Tabernacle began in September/October 2013.We all have a hunger and thirst to win souls, before the LORD Jesus Christcomes back. All four families have a passion to go out into the communityand share the Love and Compassion of Jesus Christ, and to win souls.A verse that fits this soul winning for Jon Lutz is Proverbs 11:30-31:"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winnethsouls is wise. Behold,the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wickedand the sinner."A verse that fits this soul winning for Cheryl Lutz is Mark 5:19: "How beit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them howgreat things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee."My wife explained in testimony service how it felt to find thischurch. When feeling the presence of God she testified that "It just feels like home. I'm finally home"
